Farmhouse Retreat in Rural Norfolk

Approached via a long farm track and surrounded by marshes and meadows, an eighteenth-century farmhouse featuring a Dutch-gable with a mellow red-brick façade. Creating a home full of character with an authentic country feel required a complete transformation, stripping interiors down to their core and rebuilding from the ground up.

New, modern wing extensions to both the farmhouse and barn also involved the creation of an extensive outdoor landscape. The building and refurbishment included a pool with pool house, a tennis pavilion, boat shed and helipad. The project was completed in under two years—despite the challenges posed by COVID restrictions.
